I do wish ISU fans could do a color out or stripe game sometime cause it's fun and looks cool on TV, but I understand a bunch of fans have a stick up their ass and think they are above it so it'll never happen. We would never pull off a stripe or gold game, but a cardinal out should be really easy to do sometime and wouldn't get much blow back from most fans

I have always preferred the chaos that comes with wearing whatever you want. Some of the student sections at Hilton before Cyclone Alley were the best. Signs, suits, wigs, body paint, it had it all. I think that's more fun than everyone wearing the same cheap t shirt.

This is the kinda thing you do earlier in the year. As few gold t shirts the average fan has, they have even fewer quarter zips, sweatshirts, jackets, etc.

KU game at 6pm in October is probably still going to be too chilly for just a t shirt.

There are a lot of “new lows” on this site. It’ll be a long time until the next one is set after someone said fans don’t impact the game… uh yeah

The issue with having a shirt on each seat is you’re bound to have some hogmollies in crop tops and some kids in shirts past their ankles

This.

And you’re lucky to find a 2xl of anything decent. You’d think that whoever the wholesaler is… they’d know to order a lot more men’s 2xl than medium in a state like Iowa.

It's BARELY October, with a kickoff temp of 73 & it's only supposed to be down to 65 by 9 pm.. I mean, sure, the weakest among us will probably be in sleeves by the end but I wouldn't use this as the reason this particular attempt won't succeed.

I'm guessing you won't be able to tell looking at the stadium, but some people will probably try to participate.

I posted that before the 7 day forecast was clear. Normal lows right now for this time of year is 48 degrees, even 10 degrees above that is pretty chilly for a t shirt.

I wouldn’t pick Kansas to do something like this. There will be some empty seats
YES good old KU...I went to an ISU @ KU game. It was the next to last game of the season, THEIR MIGHT HAVE BEEN 5,000 FANS in attendance that day. Donnie Duncan was the coach and ISU led at halftime 17-7.....In typical Donnie Duncan style ...WE LOSE the game 21-17!!

That is a great idea. The only issue would be the weather. That part of November could be just about anything. The colder the weather, the less likely they are going to be able to coordinate colors. Most cold weather ISU gear I've seen is red. (Or dark blue. :vomit)
I remember the Dark Blue/ Cardinal colors starting with the Dan McCarney era, and as much as I LIKE Mac ...I never thought much of the Blue Color Scheme!

The switch to blue was a terrible decision by the A.D., that yr with those horrendous blue BB warm ups and the red piping if I remember right.
