^^this. Go Bears. But I’d drink with Aaron Rodgers anytime. And that statement is pre-Lazard.
Unless they believe in Love (why?) and have no need for a QB, therefore have no need to go to #3, and despite the Broncos giving up the #9 compared to the #3 have a much more appealing package in terms of other compensation. It's hard to believe because SF was giving up a ton, but until we find out what the Broncos are offering, I err on the side of "WTF are the Packers thinking?"

This is why I am glad the Chiefs front office has not been scared to pull out all stops they can to field a contender in Mahomes prime years so far. Seems like the Packers have pissed away a lot of Rodgers best years by not addressing their biggest needs several times over the years. When you have one of the best QBs in the league you need to build a team around him. Hell Tampa Bay won a SB in just 1 year with Brady by being aggressive with their moves which shows if you have an elite QB you don't mess around building for the future when you have the guy that can help you win it all right now.
As humble fan of the lowly Vikings my reaction is somewhat subdued to this news......
San Fran makes alot of sense so packers will go a different direction.
If GB trades Rodgers before June 1st... they take a $37 million cap hit.... so I don't see any trade happening at all. GB's front office is beyond stupid, but they can't be that stupid.
I will always love the GB Packers no matter what, but I hate their front office and I love that Rodgers is putting it to them big time for what they did in last years draft. That was the dumbest thing I've ever seen a front office do..... they deserve everything they are getting right now.
I haven't heard a figure, but it sounded like it goes way down after that date. But I don't know for certain how much.
