The players commented they didn't have the energy to compete. This admission indicates they don't have the heart to be Cyclones. The motivation to finish the season strong is nonexistent.
or...or... hear me out, they just got done playing 30+ minutes each 2 days ago in Texas, get home at like 1 AM to Ames Wednesday, to get on a bus to Lawrence less than 12 hours later to play a game the very next day.

That was exactly the case when I saw they were rescheduling and how jam packed it was with the competition, the time between games and the travel schedule? Terrible job of putting that on them.

I thought the plan was to fly from Forth Worth to Kansas City and stay in Lawrence. Did that change?

You going to explain why you think this is a bad take or just be a dickhead like usual?

I’ll again defer to your experience.

but the idiots that try to assign character qualifications to say if prohm were really a good guy he’d forgo money owed to him is really stupid, and completely disingenuous

This is a far less indicting, so it can’t be true, right?

Would you say resigning and taking another job would be a better look than getting sacked? I don't think anyone would blame him for leaving on his own accord.

I could make the argument that he did fine bringing in talent to replace Fred’s players. Wigginton, Lard, Malou before things got weird, Tyrese, THT, Bolton, Foster.

It was his roster management after those guys got here that he ultimately failed at, and why we’re here

Hey, let's give some credit to terrible in game coaching, non-existent offensive schemes, and momentum killing timeouts after made 3s.

What do you mean? I was defending the team for not having the "Cyclone energy" that someone thought they didn't have. I am going to guess the team got back to Ames from Texas after 1 since The game went until at least 10:30, and I heard sources say they came back to Ames rather than going directly to Lawrence? I am not 100% sure on that.

This will 100% be a "mutual decision", when in reality it's JP letting him go. A "mutual decision" looks way better in this current environment.

I truly feel for the players. I was in similar situation in hs. Won 5 games my senior year. Early in the season, a couple of us lost our starting spots and minutes so a couple sophs could start. They weren't better than us, certainly I was nothing special lol. But the coach just gave up on winning to build for the future. There was zero energy or gaf among the seniors. Just nothing to play for, no future, just playing out the string.

I may now revise my predictions that we stay within 2 dozen tomorrow.

It took John Orr more than several years to turn it around at ISU...I feel sorry for whoever the next coach is, because he is inheirting a MESS
College basketball has changed, get the right coach no reason you can be back in 2-3 years.
