Still rain and 36 F here in Des Moines at 7 AM.

Edit: now it's turning into icy little pellets at 7:30 AM and now a minute later it's snow showers, windy and 32 F. Here it comes.

I ran to get donuts this morning and It got nasty in the Ames area in a span of 10 minutes. I’m going to guess we get more than 1-3 inches.

I went out to the front porch to get an Amazon package, and it was raining and sort of sleeting a touch. Ten minutes later, I couldn't see across my backyard to the neighbor's house.
