2020 Chicago Bears Thread

Nagy isn’t a terrible coach but he wants to use his system no matter the player’s skill level. He’s not the right guy for the Bears, especially without a QB and competent O-line play. Ryan Pace now...yuck. His drafting and personnel decisions are mind blowingly bad. Trubisky is obvious but equally important decisions like drafting Kmet AND signing Graham at $8 mil per when you have massive O-line issues is maddening.

Who would be the right coach for any team who has a poor QB and Oline. That is like trying to have your OC call a game with a blindfold on.

How many points have bad coaching/Mitch Trubisky cost the bears this year? They are lucky the Jaguars handed the ball right back to them to spot them 3 points going into halftime.

The red zone run parallel to the line of scrimmage and #10's pick in the end zone

#10 will always pull the rug out and make a knucklehead play

I still say it's time to cut him loose. That throw at this stage in his career? Tell it walking, Mitch

I counted 6 Jaguars he was throwing into. Inexcusable. Don’t like it at all the the Jags are keeping it relatively close.

Pretty decent chance Montgomery goes over 1000 for the season on this next series, or at the very least in the 4th quarter. Their starting to feed him and the Jags are wearing down. I think he's about 15 yards away.

Looks like he needs 6 more yards.

I never thought I would say this, but I think they need to resign Trubisky. They won't be able to sign a better QB in free-agency; I'd like to see them either franchise tag him or sign a short-term deal while drafting a QB in this draft.

I know they say to not throw it across the field against the grain, but did you see how wide open the Bears receiver was on the other side? He could have easily lobbed it into the other corner and there'd be only one player there to catch it.

I too think the bears should stick with Trubisky. You may have a low-ish ceiling with him, but he has proved that the floor can be lower (Foles, and probably anyone they could get via draft or free agency this offseason). I'm not a bears fan though, so I don't really care. I kind of want him to stick around for the comedic relief he provides, but in an seriousness, barring some kind of wacky trade, how could they find a better option than him at this point? He's better than any QB prospect in this year's draft not named Trevor.

He needs to be in an offense that suits him with an NFL quality offensive line.
