I am so sick of Mitch at this point but short of a miracle I don't see a better option being available. They play themselves into a worse first round pick every week, the defense is too good to land this team high enough to get a top tier guy from the draft. I do still think it is worth a gamble on taking a QB, you never know, but I would rather they draft O line first. At least with better blocking upfront you can lean on Monty and Cohen next year, start Mitch and see what happens, and then let a later round QB develop for a year to see what you really have. I will be curious what happens with Pace and Nagy this year though, I wouldn't exactly call this year a success but they may have done enough to buy another year.

I don't see them beating the Packers (I've seen this movie too many times), and I'm not counting on the Rams beating the Cardinals with a backup QB. If they miss the playoffs, I'm hoping Nagy and Pace are gone.

Chuck Bruce, Mitch and Nagy have looked much better without Nagy calling plays. Offensive line still needs massive improvement. If the Bears get into the playoffs, I wouldn't be shocked to see them take out the Saints. I'm fine with everyone coming back next year, but just get rid of Pace before the draft, please.

I think they do have to resign him as well, just for financial reasons. But the next time the Bears contend for the Super Bowl it won't be with him at quarterback. He just doesn't have "it," and no one in the organization can trust him to win a game when necessary.

The Bears are in draft and cap hell for two more seasons at least. I don't mind Nagy, especially in recent weeks as he's shown a willingness to adapt to win. But Pace has got to go, which probably means Nagy will be out the door as well for the new GM.

Are the Bears going to lay down for GB like they always do? Dear Lord, even the Vikings walked into Lame-o field and gave them a nice drubbing. The Bears have a better defense than Minn, too.

It’s criminal that Nagy gets to keep his job after REPEATED garbage play calling. His need to show how cute his ineffective passing plays are even after it’s been proven the way to win with this team is to run the ball.

4 for 4 on 4th down conversions running the ball so of course you call a terrible rollout pass with Mitch on 4th and half a yard near the red zone down 5. Or that you have Montgomery about 6 carries in the entire second half.

Glad the Rams bailed him out but they’ll get destroyed by the Saints next week.

If I’m the Bears, I pull a Texas and see if you can get Fitzgerald from NW. He’d be the perfect fit. If you can’t, you ride with Nagy for one more year.

The GB staff and Rogers toy with the Bears when it comes to scheme and playcalling. The Bears have no freaking clue how to play against them. You would think they would call a team that beat them and ask for pointers or something. It's pathetic really.

Can they opt out?

Absolutely nothing about this teams says playoffs.

A 6 game losing streak and they're in? Shame on the NFL

As a Bears fan, I'd be lying to say I see any chance of us making it past first round

At least they're .500. 8-8 wildcards happen all of the time. Wash or the Giants are going to win their division, and get a higher seed with a 7-9 record.

As much as I love the Bears, and despise Nagy and Herman both (they’re beautiful arrogant for one another), this strangely feels like an okay deal.

Fingers crossed for Mensa getting caught flipping the bird to the live camera feed during the NFL Draft.
