Iowa State is favored by nine over Kansas State

I don't believe ISU fans want to play a depleted K-State team, say without Wyatt Hubert, Briley Moore, A.J. Parker, and the like. That would be a truly shallow win and meaningless to the CFP quest.
I really never have said this is a bad K-State team. Where did you get that?

Probably the part where you said a victory against them would be "truly shallow and meaningless".

One of the best differences this season vs last is the D's ability to get off the field on 3rd and long. KSU will get in a lot of those, trying to eat clock, but won't convert. Also, the weather is looking good, 40s, no rain, light winds. Purdy will take advantage of them focusing on Breece. I think the line is right on, a 10-13 pt win for ISU.

I literally don't know who any of those people are.
That probably says more about your guys than mine. Clearly, ISU is stacked this year and the front-runner. So, there's no reason for you to know K-State players. Sorry, I brought their names up. That's rather presumptuous of me to think they mattered here.

I feel like 10-13pts is giving KSU 7 pts for a Special teams or short field TD.

And I never said K-State was missing a ton of players.
Without caring enough to go back and find the quote, I suppose that’s true. You just implied that K-State would be a poor matchup this Saturday because of COVID, and said that December 12th would be a much better or “fairer” matchup.

Are you a lawyer, surly? Because you’re certainly nitpicking exactly what you said and didn’t.

I said it would be better to play at the end of the year if K-State lost a bunch of guys due to C19, not that they have.

Just catching up on this thread. This almost had me laughing out loud.

First off, when it comes to how petty I am with KSU, it's a bottomless pit. Let me spin you a yarn.

My dream would be for KSU to come to Ames with just walkons. Every play, Mike Rose throws a suplex on somebody who leaves the field in tears. Breece Hall runs for 600 yards and 11 TD's. With 2 seconds left in the game, Campbell calls a fake kneel play and then throws an 80 yard bomb to score over 100 points. He then pulls his hand back from the opposing coach, not handshaking, and then quickly proceeds to give him a wedgie.

If you think I care at all about how shallow a win is against KSU you are gravely mistaken.

You missed it.. @surly already back tracked on this take in it's entirety.
