Iowa State is favored by nine over Kansas State

So I've never seen anything about 2/3 deep at each position group. What I always see is this:

The minimum number of players required to play a game has been set at 53. The number is based on the entire roster, including all scholarship and walk-on players.

Additional minimum thresholds of available players were also established for offensive linemen (7), interior defensive linemen (4) and quarterback (1). Teams falling below any of these benchmarks, based on game week test results, could still elect to play as scheduled if so desired. Otherwise, upon approval by the Commissioner, the game would be declared a no-contest if it cannot be moved to a later date.

I don't believe ISU fans want to play a depleted K-State team, say without Wyatt Hubert, Briley Moore, A.J. Parker, and the like. That would be a truly shallow win and meaningless to the CFP quest.

Oh no, I'd be perfectly fine with it. Appreciate your concern, though.

We aren't making the CFP with two loses, one of which is to Louisiana. At this point whatever gets us to Dallas I'm thrilled by.

In terms of test timing, we know that at least three are required each week (I think more would relate to players that have had a positive test). One appears to happen Sunday/Monday (I've never found many details about the first test), one on Wednesday, and a Friday test (which is the rapid test that got some headlines early on). If a player tests positive they are out for at least 10 days.

**** that. I only care about winning.

And ISU is never making the CFP. Same as KSU.

I would enjoy a victory either way.

We'll gladly play any team that K-State puts out onto the field. A win is a win. And this game is already meaningless from the CFP "quest" considering we can't make the CFP.

I get the feeling K-State wants to postpone the game. It's just a matter of if the testing results will allow them to do that. It's unlikely they don't have 53 available so it will depend on if they have 7 offensive linemen, 4 interior defensive linemen, and 1 quarterback.

If they don't meet the threshold for cancellation, the game should be played. In today's world, you're not guaranteed anything. Play the game.
