This is pretty unbelievable stuff even for N ...

This was the H1N1 flu year; a lot of the offense was sick. Heck, I was sick as a dog that day, barely crawled to my couch to watch this game. I felt better when it was over though.

back to back conference losses in Lincoln ... when did that happen prior to that ????

This game will always be one of my favorites...Story time:

My now wife and I went on our first date the night before this game. She was a Nebraska "fan" because she had family in Omaha and occasionally went to 1 game a year. So during dinner we decided to make a bet on the game the next day. The loser had to buy sushi on the next date, I made this bet under the assumption that I was buying at our next date. Saturday rolled around and I watched it in a buddies basement. I couldn't believe what I was watching. Fast forward to our second date; I felt bad and tried not letting her pay, but she stuck to her guns and said a bet is a bet. End of Sept will be 8 years of marriage. She is now a full on Cyclone fan, this game and Fred Hoiberg helped convert her.

Brings back memories of watching from my living room. Each time the offense failed to score we were like "welp, it's over". Then the D would get the ball back again. One of the few games where I actually stood for nearly the entire game.
The Benny Hill theme song soundtrack made this video perfect.
Even when isu failed to get a first down after Nebraskas 7th turnover with under 2 minutes left I thought certainly nebraska was going to at least have an opportunity for a game winning field goal.

Yes, there were guys out and other guys who were playing throwing up on the sideline if I recall correctly.

On top of that, that particular Nebraska defense led the nation in scoring defense at 10.4 points per game.

Their defense definitely was not the problem that game lol.

Their defense was a BIG problem for the ISU offense. Suh is a headcase but was a monster in that defense.

Jerome Tiller and Jeremiah Schwartz started that game at QB and RB. Dowling's D would have given that offense fits.

One thing we can ALL agree on is that this video never gets old! The Benny Hill theme is perfect. Get this man an Oscar.

Fatty is a legend down here. He put out all sorts of pump-up-purple stuff for maybe a decade and then, suddenly, he was dead with cancer. It's good his memory lives in his video productions. He was gifted.

One of the best parts of this particular creation is that he starts it off like a normal highlight reel only starting the Yakkity Sax after Nebraska turns the ball over the first time.

I will never understand how that Nebraska lineman doesn't draw a personal foul flag on that first play. They were blowing the whistle when the ISU player was still on the ground but he still throws Banks to the ground almost 3 seconds later with the whistle blowing the whole time.

I suppose if ISU was in the BIG and took N's stance you'd say that too? SMH. I suggest N is much more like ISU culturally than the University of Iowa.

Shut your dirty mouth don't you dare compare us to either of those mouth breathing fart smellers.
