The election is Nov. 3. I certainly don't think it's a coincidence they are pushing for a vaccine before then.
Could be true but whoever wins the election the vaccine companies will still make a boatload of money

I think they'll keep promising it early, but wont actually have it until some time in 2021.The election is Nov. 3. I certainly don't think it's a coincidence they are pushing for a vaccine before then.

Follow the money! Lots of money to be made with a vaccine.
Most of the vaccines I've seen were going to be made available for free or at cost. The government has already paid for them in advance. So while there is pressure for these companies to deliver, it isn't like pharmaceuticals that can name their price.
And who gives the money to the government for them to spend?
Will the IDPH be able to handle distribution efficiently? There seems to be some question about their "dashboard" efforts, not to mention testing. Reading the thread, maybe they ought to hire BCClone to handle this, as it seems its important to have a plan in place to get it into arms and/or butts.![]()
In todays world, this seems like a viable, efficient plan to move forward. Do we hav to set up pens?Arms? Butts? My guys are used to giving it right above the front shoulder, a.k.a. base of the neck. Everyone will know you have received it from the spray paint circle on your back.![]()

Sounds like my second day in basic training (fort Ord, Cal.), and we all know how efficient the US army is. Another plus for your plan!Cattle style would probably be most efficient, walk them through chutes, a good vaccinator could handle them at a steady walk.

Analysis by the super computer at Oakridge National Lab details how the virus attacks the body. Interesting read.

Crazy to think that the vaccine already exists (and has for awhile) just has to go through so many steps. Not that I'm against the approach. If I'm going to put it into my body I want to know what the heck it is.
The back works for cattle, but especially after a quarantine, there's a lot of people that I don't want to see walking around with their shirt off to show they've got the vaccine. Maybe we can give them a stamp on the forehead.

If only I would have applied this logic to those late nights when someone decided to buy a round of liquid filled tiny glasses for the group.
