This infuriates me. Yes, many of my issues are first world problems. I live in the first world. If I didn't have running water I would prioritize that over my internet going out.

Another one I just thought of, "Joe drives bus now". Have only heard it from family in rural areas. Is it really that much harder to say "Joe drives the bus" or "Joe drives the school bus"?

Well it might be a case where he drives school buses for the school not just a particular bus so "Joe drives the bus" wouldn't be accurate.
