I wish we had done that. Maybe we would have actually landed someone then lol.Not quite.

I would say it's time to get rid of jp then
as much as you haters don't want to admit it, CSP isn't going anywhere for at least 2 years. More likely he turns it around and makes the tournament in 2 years than him getting fired after next season.
Yep, especially if this next year is cut short due to COVID. Hell be here for st least 1 1/2 years.
JP wont fire him if the season/recruiting is substantially affected by this pandemic
Roster retention will be the key.Said this before, but Prohm is going to have --
Seniors = Bolton, Conditt, Johnson
only losing Solomon... good young man, but not a world-beater
the four incoming sophomores making the fresh-soph leap
maybe a guy or two coming off a redshirt
another round of HS recruiting, which Prohm is best at
Denying Prohm one more chance to prove it with the above, and instead tearing that all down (and letting other programs pick over that roster like vultures on a corpse, which would probably have at least a few nice pieces) and starting over...
Is not going to sound like fun to Pollard.
I might be wrong, but I think Prohm has two years left at least.
Not saying I agree with it, but I see the above and the above narrative coming.
lame duckProhm keeps on missing. I don’t see him staying past this next year.
Last one he followed was Gomez lol...I agree though I’m sure it is normally a good signShoultz started following Dejulius on Twitter. That's usually a good sign
Yeah, that is the thing about basketball. It can swing so easily on 1-2 guys. You are way more what your stars say you are, and two studs with a mediocre supporting cast can still make a deep run in March and accomplish a lot in the meantime.
It is not like football, where you have to build up talent, experience, and depth across your roster, and especially on the lines, if you want to compete at the highest levels. One good guard can remake a college basketball team very quickly.
One good quarterback is running for his life if his offensive line sucks.
Yes, this scenario was out there as soon as this year started to tail spin and we had a large freshmen class.Said this before, but Prohm is going to have --

True but it's almost a done deal this time. Unless something dramatic happens, he's a Cyclone.Last one he followed was Gomez lol...I agree though I’m sure it is normally a good sign

It's impossible to predict with 100% certainty what a college kid will do, but everything I've heard is that there is no shot of him going back to Michigan and we are the odds on favorite. The other name I've heard is Marquette, but CW doesn't think they are a major player and I trust his sources on that. This is the guy we needed to make us feel better about next year. I'm hoping landing him will lead to another addition or 2. These things tend to snowball. Thanks for sharing, considering when he announced his transfer, how fast the staff made contact and the cutting of his list and announcing I felt he knew pretty early where he wanted to go and it pointed ISU was a likely spot.
Nothing is done until he announces tomorrow though and as we've just seen with Turner a young man can have a late change of heart. I did see J Christopher announced for ASU over Michigan late last night, which is a change in expected/possible roster late. I think DeJulius is leaving to find a better fit as he would have had a good shot of starting and his mind is at the point of no return but Mich may try to talk him into staying...

Chances he gets a waiver? I couldn't quite remember, but was there a reason Bolton was granted one last year?
