***Official 2019-2020 Transfer Thread***

He'd be an incredibly nice asset to have. Anyone that can consistently knock down a three will be an asset. I would be concerned if he came here and started, but if would come here and be someone off the bench, that would be good for me.

Bench gunners can be underrated assets, even by a fan base like ours.

Guys who can come in, bring some energy, and go 5/8 from the field for 13 points in like 22 minutes are pretty valuable, even if they suck at defense.

That was basically Tyrus, Naz, D-Jax, and Wigginton at their best.

We've all had conversations about these types of guys.. The teams that have struggled have been because the middle "role" guys have not been able to contribute consistently. Barry, or someone similar, would help with that.

Averaged 9.4 pts, 5.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2 to 1 assist/turnover

Edit- 28% from three on his career, so that's not optimal

Yeah, he looks like a big strong pg, sort of a poor man’s version of Kane. Nice to have ball handler you can switch like that. Bad bad shooting numbers though.

Sorry to disagree, but three of those four were starters at times, so their best was more than a guy off the bench.

Bolton and Jackson can shoot. We kind of have to assume Johnson can.

We can afford to give a little on shooting for the sake of having a dependable PG to run the offense and somebody to shore us up on defense.

I’m guessing based off this you’ve seen a decent amount of their games? Is the Calloo guy from Oklahoma St worth a look?

I catch a fair number of Hills games when my own kids aren't playing. I'll be honest though I don't always follow enough to get a good read on the whole roster. Like I said the rotations also make it harder to get a read on kids.

I do remember Calloo had a strong game that last time I watched, but the other team was tiny so about anyone his size could have had a strong game. He handles it well for his size and I looked and he shot it at 35% from 3. I'd say similar to Childs. Looked good on the floor, but didn't quite have that extra factor that you saw with Grant Foster.

Barry's size and athleticism is concerning to me as a likely combo guard at best. That said, he's an excellent shooter and very efficient all around on the offensive end. He'd be a nice add for sure but I'd have Darius Perry, Bryce Aiken, and DJ Carton as bigger priorities.

I really want one of those 3 point guards and Keon Ellis.

Yeah he doesn’t appear to be very good.

Steve has a couple of these guys on his line, now he just needs to reel em in. I will be so much more optimistic if we can land a few of these targets.
