They were clashing pretty hard at the end of the season. I don't remember what game that Bruce decided to just bench him for the rest of the game.

That was the Baylor game and I think it was pretty much a forgone conclusion at that point from people in Diarra’s camp.

Diarra could transfer in the big 12 if he wanted since he’ll graduate, correct?

I am not sure if his ego with Prohm's tactics pans out to be the best dynamic. I think Fred could coach a kid like this, but I think Prohm would have him benched just like what Weber did.

Hard to imagine how they were so bad with Diarra and Sneed returning. Seems like 1 or 2 key unhappy players can ruin a team.

We know the feeling by this point.

Yeah, Fred never has trouble with talented headcases.

Fred benched players too. All coaches do. Didn’t BDJ get benched for his antics against UAB?

EDIT- someone beat me to it

Jeff Goodman had Bowling Green transfer Justin Turner on his podcast today. Was a really good interview, the young man had some very thoughtful answers. At the end of the interview Goodman asked who's shown to put him as a priority and Justin named some schools. They were:

Lousville
Georgia
Xavier
Texas Tech
Marquette
Iowa State
Missouri
Alabama
Connecticut

Those were how he listed them in order FWIW...

I've seen him play. He is easily one of the best transfers available. I'd put him right behind Carlik Jones and DJ Carton. Glad we are at least involved.
