Third: "Who"?I think the ongoing narration by Morgan Fairchild makes Shawshank so easy to pick up at any point and follow to the end from there. (Yeah, I did that on purpose.)

Agree. I can land on "Shawshank" at almost any point in the movie and continue from there (or even dive in and jump out at any time).
"Shawshank" also has an advantage to get sucked-in randomly, because of its frequency on TV .

Don’t really like goodfellas or Scorsese much in general. Probably never watch it again.

Because one of my favorite TV lines is from Family Guy where Stewie talks to Brian about worms and says something like " all those worms shawshanking their way past your balloon knot" and it makes me giggle.
And I don't like mob movies.

Nobody was into movies like Goodfellas in my hometown, and it just never came up once I got to college so I've just never seen it.
Kinda the same reason for Shawshank. I have probably seen the whole movie before, but not nearly in order and over a period of about 10 years watching bits and pieces when on tv. I need to watch it start to end sometime.
