She's Jon Lovitz's wife. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Oh My Gosh! I had forgotten about that. Jon Lovitz on SNL would always use that line (or lie, actually), that his wife was Morgan Fairchild, in his "Yeah, that's the ticket" skits. Thanks for the reminder.

Sadly I haven't really seen either, yes shoot me now.

Nobody was into movies like Goodfellas in my hometown, and it just never came up once I got to college so I've just never seen it.

Kinda the same reason for Shawshank. I have probably seen the whole movie before, but not nearly in order and over a period of about 10 years watching bits and pieces when on tv. I need to watch it start to end sometime.
If I had to guess, a lot of people are like that with The Godfather, LoTR, Harry Potter, Hunger Games.

Weird how certain somewhat obscure pop culture tidbits survive over time and others fade away. For some reason whenever I hear her name I'm immediately remembering that liar character. And even this time I had to look up the name of the actor/comedian who did the bit - it had been so long ago and hidden in the back of my brain.

With spring around the corner, I will admit that I have never seen Caddyshack, yet I probably can quote 1/4 of the movie when others talk about it. How is this possible?

I voted Shawshank based on principle. Both great movies but Shawshank is about criminals dealing with the consequences of their actions (mostly). Goodfellas is just criminals being criminals.

My favorite line: “I'd like to think that the last thing that went through his head, other than that bullet, was to wonder how the hell Andy Dufresne ever got the best of him.”

This, The Critic and Hannukah Harry will always be deep in my heart of hearts.
