Maybe not "we didn't want him" but one guy said he was scared off by his 3 Point percentage, and one comment on how Wisconsin has been fine without him.

Um that was me and King shot 25% from 3 this year. Like I said I would take him, but that number would definitely need to come up.

Way up there
King would have been nice but alone he wouldn't have been a make or break player for next years team, we need someone better honestly or a couple of guys like him. Fred getting him stings a little bit but not as much as losing him to the worst p6 bball program of all time.

DeAndre Kane shot 27% from 3 at Marshall if I remember right. King is in good hands if he's wanting to improve as a shooter.

I'm talking about Iowa State, not Nebraska.

Nebraska should be much improved next year with the 6 new guys they have plus the couple on the current team that are decent. They are pretty dang bad this year. Most of those guys aren't Big 10 players they have this year.

They'll still be pretty bad IMO

Yeah I don't see them being a good team but I don't see them dropping the non con games like they did this year. And maybe get 6-7 wins in conference next year instead of 2-3. Will also depend on the Big Ten schedule they draw.

They have a better 5 this year than Fred did in his 5 seasons here. Or at least, he will be maybe as early as next season (he's a FR)

Kane's importance to Iowa State wasn't three point shooting. He went from a career average of making 1/4 per game to 1/3 in Ames.

He went from shooting under 25% to shooting basically 40%. All while shooting them more often! His value wasn’t only in shooting (did anyone suggest that?), he did nearly everything well, but his improvement in 3P shooting was remarkable.
