Coronavirus brought to UNMC in Omaha

Anyone else find it odd that an infectious disease center is located in a largish population area with coast to coast interstate traffic. Seems odd not to find somewhere more remote to quarantine people known to be infected. Also odd to fly people confirmed to have the virus half way across the world. I know UNMC is equipped but they only have 20 rooms in the isolation area.

Hard to justify building a state of the art hospital in the middle of no where.

I've toured the facility. Not concerned. I'd be more worried about getting on the surrey bus they used to transport them from the airport.

I cant figure out why they brought two airplane loads home and had sick patients on both sides planes. Going to be hard on the cruise lines for some time. I'm cheap but not that cheap.

This is all I need to be convinced to quarantine myself in my own house with enough beer to sustain me until this all goes away.

UNMC is a great hospital. Treated the Ebola patients,but that was much different.

Why transport patients to the middle of the country who carry an airborne virus?

I think California would be a better location...

they have ways to decontaminate buses after things like this. That really isn’t a worry either.
