We just started that major network outage. This has cluster**** written all over it.
Clients were told and agreed to that batch processing would stop. As soon as stuff is stopped they are asking why stuff is stopped.

It's going even worse than expected. Clients are screaming and they are backing out the change. I'm guessing they told the clients the outage was going to be a lot shorter than what I was told in order to get them to agree.
