Yellow advisory signs for curves -- loaded semi trucks take heed. I always add 10 and still feel very safe. I never expect to be pulled over for an advisory.
Orange limits for constuction zone -- I fully expect to get pulled over. Pedestrians and construction equipment are littered everywhere.
I was told that those yellow speed signs are half the speed that you can take without losing it. Of course weather, tires, and vehicle profile will affect that.

My brothers tried to do this with old highway 20 in eastern Iowa about 40 years ago. They said that the 25 and 35 mph ones weren't too bad but it was tough to take the 45 mph ones at 90.

I can't believe they made it 2 lanes and will have the SB traffic merging with the right lane of the NB traffic immediately.

Lane 1 - 30 WB
Lane 2 - 30 WB
Lane 3 - 35 NB
Lane 4 - 35 NB
Lane 5 - 35 SB

#4 and #5 combine right away at the end of the flyover. Then there's about 8-9 seconds at highway speed before #4 becomes the Dayton exit (exit only). Then another 5-6 seconds until #3 goes away, just in time for WB traffic entering from Dayton. That whole space will be a cluster on game days.

Have you ever driven in cities that already have flyover bridges? One that comes to my mind is Lubbock, TX. They have some really high flyovers that create a bypass around the city especially near the Texas Tech campus. Can't imagine what it's like when it does get icy down there. Yes, I've been there during is snow storm, but thankfully didn't have to go over them. It kinda freaks you out when you look over the rails and all you see is the sky all around you.

I remember my first flyover

I remember being able to drive freely for more than 3 minutes without running in to massive traffic, an accident, emergency vehicles coming up, or a car on fire on the side of the road. Miss you Iowa. Kissy face.

There is a three level flyover on my work commute - in Minnesota. It isn't that big of a deal. Just don't drive stupid and you'll be fine.

If there is anything worse than someone who is holding their phone in one hand filming while they are driving it is the person that does this while they have another adult in the front seat who could be holding the phone for them.

Dogg, never let your handmaid hold your phone. Once she gets it in her hand she’ll never let go and your browsing, texting, and Snapchat history will never be safe again.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think the guy who shot that video was serious, I think he's trying to be funny.

I can't recall if I've ever driven it, but the bridge/ramp from Highway 5 to I-35 south of the metro seems like a terrifying prospect in winter.

Omg dogg are you insane? Hand over your man badge and I’ll give you your vag badge.
Well, don't do this in Minnesota. Holding a phone while driving for whatever reason is now a primary traffic offense. Any and all phone use while driving must be hands free. You can't even dial while driving.

I agree with this it was a totally unnecessary risk all around. It’s like when I’m in NYC and I film the skyline while walking down the sidewalk. Tall buildings. Got it.

If your experience of flyovers is Lubbock, don't venture to Houston.
