My first day of kindergarten all these kids were crying. I didn't get it.

I don’t remember my first day much. I do remember telling teach that I don’t nap and she got mad. I still don’t nap.

All these posts reminded me of this picture of my third youngest grandkid on her first day of Kindergarten. She's the youngest of four girls and super independent. She insisted on walking in alone, while Mom stayed back with the camera.

You are probably confusing Kirkwood with Kirksville which is indeed in Northern Misery.

I love that site. Happened upon it many years ago and it made me laugh out loud in the office for some songs. Others, I'm pretty sure my lyrics were right and those listed as being right were wrong.

There are some songs that I will NEVER sing right, because the wrong lyrics are so deeply ingrained.

70 out, dew point is only 47 and mostly cloudy. Actually feels chilly. Might be a long sleeves biking day. Might have to break out fall gear soon.

Bought a new Fitbit, stepped on the scale this morning for the first time in years. The only positive I can make from that experience was it didn't break and it didn't top out.

Received my daily mass reminder from DMACC about SafeColleges training.
I guess they don't get that they gave a deadline of December 31 for everyone, so it doesn't come off very urgent.

Of course, I'm not sitting through sexual harassment training with Z right here, and my class doesn't start until October, but sure, fire away.

But my main thing here is that August reminders for December deadlines don't work, even though this is important stuff.

Age 5-6? I think I was already in the Tequila phase by then. Had to bring my own lemon and salt to kindergarten
