Hey @cowgirl836, how long is little man sleeping through the night? Just wanting to see if I can sync up Emma's sleep schedule with his.

well last night he fought bedtime..........don't think he actually fell asleep until 8:30 (normal bedtime 7:30) and was up briefly at 9:30. Then up at 1:50 and 5am. After that the little nut slept til 7:30. We joked that was his April Fool's joke to mom and dad. Up at 6:30 over the weekend, sleeps in on Monday.

Fingers crossed but prior to last night he had been doing 1 wakeup a night after being sick the week prior and being up like.....all the time. So I hope that 1 wakeup thing comes back!

Survey from DMACC on improving the orientation experience for adjuncts.
Can't help but notice immediately that the questions make it really easy to identify who is responding, and there isn't room for actual input on a pretty corrupt practice, but just answers to justify keeping that status in place.

No thanks. Not answering this one.

Granted, she is 9 weeks, but she only sleeps for 3-4 hours, needs to go outside, then up for an hour, then back to sleep. Does that from 7 pm to the morning...

I could be wrong but as a general rule of thumb don't they say the number of months old is how many hours for a dog to "hold it"?
ie: 3 month old dog can "hold it" 3 hours
5 month old dog can "hold it" 5 hours
etc.

Thats the way I understand it. So, hopefully she starts going longer and longer shortly. I think we were spoiled with Sadie.

Unwanted survey update: I visited the survey again to see if I misread something.
Noting that I had not, I clicked the arrow at the bottom, curious about the second page.

No second page. I submitted a blank survey, which might be as appropriate a response as any.

The blank survey submittal at least shows you read it and didn't approve instead of just ignored it. That reminds me of some "advice" on tipping at a restaurant. If you have really poor service, instead of leaving no tip at all, leave a very small tip. That does more to leave a message regarding the poor service.

The boxer?

I'm guessing the guy who helped organize the field workers out in all the vegetable and fruit farms in California. A lot of people say those are bad jobs, they are hard jobs but usually pay pretty well. Base +performance lots of them can make $20/hr.

LilMissWx has RSV so that's fun. Thankfully she is sleeping well so I can get some work done. She is CRANKY.

Our newest granddaughter Rowen just finished having RSV. We FaceTimed with Hannah a few nights ago, and she (Rowen) looked and sounded awful. We were apprehensive, lung issues at her age (3 months) can be scary.

But last night we watched her getting a bath and she looked 100% again. :)

Make sure to take away her water dish a few hours before you want "bed time" and then get plenty of play time in before actual bed time to wear her out. Our vet told us mental stimulation was just as important as physical. Get a ball feeder or something you can feed her via instead of just a bowl to burn some energy too ( we still occasionally do this with both our 8 yo dog and 1 yo puppy).

Watched the Iowa-Baylor game last night. Megan Gustafson is a great, great player - probably the greatest women's player in U of Iowa history - but she and her teammates were, I thought, clearly outclassed. I was cheering for them, mostly because I can't stand Kim Mulkey, but after one quarter it was pretty obvious who the best team was.

Renouncing all ties to ISU? I do like the name though. There was a series of books I read that had an Inn named "Easing the Badger" (which was never explained)--it kind of makes me think of that.
It's been several days since this post and nobody questioned why it wasn't called Easing the Beaver?
