It’s so weird that none of the DM Rag guys have been picked off to write for The Athletic.
It's a pretty bad look for The Atlantic. Wouldn't be surprised to see them tank.

Ames during college was awesome.
I lived there for a couple years after college - it’s not as great when you’re not in college (didn’t hate it though).
Are you saying Fred can't hit a curve ball?So the Fred cultists should hold off on changing the logo on their Freddie Jobu idols?

I moved to KC for the same reason in '98. We moved back when my son was 2 because I didn't want him to grow up in their schools.I wish it would have been this way when I left in early 2000. I would have loved to have stayed in the area. At the time, the vast majority of ISU grads were leaving for places like Minneapolis or Kansas City - there just wasn't much to keep people in the Des Moines area. Too hard to even consider moving back now, with 2 kids in school and 2 established careers.
I don't know any that don't think they are only a year or two away from winning multiple NC's.They’re a lot easier to deal with now that they know they’re not winning football championships ever again.
NEBRASKETBALL IS BACK BABY WOOOOOHow many of you guys are checking twitter non-stop and have a thread queued up so that you can be the first to report here?
I wonder how long it will take before some jackass states Pinnacle Magic.
Fred allegedly hates recruiting, so he takes over for a program who’s fans don’t give a **** about basketball, in a city where there is nothing to do and nothing around with 0 basketball history. I think now that times gone on, that he just hated coaching at Iowa State.
Right? He had literally the perfect fit at ISU. Basketball school with a wide open check-book and infinite job security. But have fun in Lincoln!
Nebraska does care about basketball and have plenty of fan support. The rest is true but let’s not pretend that recruiting to Lincoln is going to be all that different than recruiting to Ames.
UNL is set to breakout in hoops. A great arena and fanbase. All they need is someone like Hoiberg to step in take it. Miles was close but just couldn't get over the top. Fred will if he goes there.

I think Jeremy came on here saying there were donors prepared to pay Hoiberg whatever salary he wanted but they required him to sign a long-term contract with a huge NBA buyout and he said no.Wide open check-book? Just stop. If this is true then why did JP say there was limitations on what we could pay CFH and that the pay increases would be passed along to the fans during the Cyclone Tailgate tour. Not sure I disagree with JP about the limitations but I thought it was BS for him to say this publicly.
