I can’t wait to see who has the first tweet announcing it when it happens - Randy P or Hines. I also wonder which one of those 2 gets the most enjoyment reporting it.
Well, Hines does have 'near double digit sources', so.......

Lots of back tracking from the typically super homer Husker media now. Should we start a thread on NU’s fallback candidates or maybe a Prohm to NU thread? TJ yo NU?
Really? Now what are they saying?
Hard hitting stuff from Randy P here:
Like what Jordan did to the short short industry?Fred did to neck ties what JFK did to the hat industry.
I've experienced the same with local celebrities when younger but I wonder if camera phones and social media posing have changed this.Seriously, do minor celebrities really complain about this stuff? Back when I was young enough to be out prowling around more I used to see local celeb's out all the time in bars and restaurants in downtown Minneapolis. Folks pretty much ignored them. I didn't pop over to sit down and chat with Rod Carew or ask Mayor Coleman if I could share a cigar with him. The only one I bugged once was Senator Boschwitz and he talked to me first to wish my gal a happy birthday after he picked that up from sitting at the next table. Hollywood stars here for filming and such have even commented how they could go out to eat without being bugged.
Try saying that with a straight face lol
Lincoln would be a great city if not for the Husker fans.

I hated living in Ames. No idea how Lincoln is though.
Ames during college was awesome.
I lived there for a couple years after college - it’s not as great when you’re not in college (didn’t hate it though).
I enjoyed it when I was in the dorms the first year. Not so much after though.
Really enjoying WDSM and DSM currently.
Hard hitting stuff from Randy P here:
"A friend in Omaha who knows Nebraska basketball as well as anyone told me last week that all Hoiberg has to do to be a rousing success in the eyes of Big Red fans is win an NCAA Tournament game."

This is next level stuff. How has he not been pulled to a larger paper is beyond me.
The metro has become a great place for young professionals. Glad I’m here now
