Just saw auto withdrawal come through for electric and gas this morning. Holy cow! I'm stopping up at Caseys at lunch and seeing if they need someone to help make pizzas to for the next couple months to pay that baby off.

Nice.
Hotheaded neighbor thinks someone fiddles with his door handle.
His dad says some bald guy did it. Since I'm bald, he offered to rev that he'll shoot first if he catches me in the act again.

That's outstanding. I'm thinking this one probably needs some LE attention.
You should have worn a wig.

In the Athletic thread, I made a little quip about paying me for my uninformed opinions instead of paying for the Athletic.

Pride responds that I've already been giving away 11,000+ of those for free already.

I counter that not all of those were uninformed.

Pride gives me an "optimistic" rating and JC gives me a "disagree" rating.

I'm kind of glad you caught that.

Is this serious? Who says crap like that? If this guy is a gun nut, I'd be pretty worried. You might want to tell someone, like law enforcement, what this guy is saying to rev.

He's a gun nut, and we've had the police over.
Guy and I met by chance outside later (after I got my midnight snack). He's a dumbass, and convinced that I just went ahead and entered his apartment. Says his dad saw me, and his dad worked corrections, so he wouldn't lie, and this will get a shotgun next time.

I mentioned to him that was extreme for something that never happened, and that I'd gone ahead and spoken with the police about this response. He went back to the fact that his dad wouldn't lie about this and I would, so go ahead and jiggle his door handle, cuz ain't nobody ever changing the Second Amendment (really).

So I told him that we didn't need to waste any more of my time and went inside.
And the 2nd Amendment can just **** right off. This guy is why that crap doesn't work, and my bad for the cave moment.

Don't know if any of you caught the story on KCCI news at 10:00 on Tuesday, but there was a story about Moose in the Morning's daughter (my granddaughter) and her new bike. Mabel has West's syndrome, a rare type of epilepsy. She has made huge strides since Jodie and Andy started giving cannabis oil (they get it from friends in Colorado).

Jodie has campaigned tirelessly for approval to use medicinal marijuana (and its by-products), up to and including talking with Sen. Grassley. Hopefully her efforts will succeed!
Very nice story. They seem amazing. As a mostly apolitical centrist (Is that an Oxymoron? I'm not sure. Maybe I'm just a moron.) I don't have a strong opinion about recreational legalization but really don't see the benefits of not legalizing medicinal mj.

I was pleasantly surprised by our gas bill. I didn't look at it close enough to see if it was one of the months based on an estimated reading. I know we'll pay for it eventually.

Dude's an ass. Hopefully it will catch up to him before he hurts someone.

Reese's pieces peanut butter eggs, Dove chocolate covered cherries, Cadbury mini eggs, Life Savers, M&Ms, Snicker and Twix

I honestly have a collection of all of these on my desk right now as a result of our customers.

I either need to learn self control or run the 22 miles to and from work.

You obviously don't work for the government. We get nothing. A friend that works for one of our providers asked if he could take me out to lunch on his company's dime and I had to tell him no.

I had to turn down a suite to the Minnesota timberwolves that I was offered or get fired. We could get free lunch up to like 6 bucks. If I was taken out to lunch, I would order without looking at the menu so I could play dumb if (and most likely when) that burger, fries and soft drink broke that amount.

The jiggle the door handle just reminded me of an incident a couple weeks ago. Went with this guy for training. We are at a customers house and the customer met us at the door and pushed the screen door open to us (at his house). My supervisor grabbed the door and went in and just kinda partially held it open for me. I did one of those grab the door with my left and the door handle with my right hand, limited space so I was needing to shimmy around it a little.

As I pull the door open, mostly by the handle, enough to get around it; the door handle comes off in my hand. Now I'm standing there with a door handle in my hand while the customer and supervisor are just inside taking shoes off and chatting. I frantically worked the handle back on and didnt touch it again. When we left, I made sure not to touch it.

No Easter candy collection is complete without Robin Eggs and Jellybird Eggs (malted milk & jellybeans, respectively). IMO, of course...
