Admittedly, I have not read this entire thread. My two cents on this situation is that Lindell deserves his spot back. He was injured and lost his starting job. Granted, the team played quite well while he was out, but I don't see how you can keep that guy out of the starting lineup. Would love to see him in the starting lineup Saturday.
I wouldn't say "deserve". That creates too many variables you have to justify.
Instead I'd simply suggest he is the most likely difference-maker on this team and I believe he will function better as a starter vs coming off the bench. He needs immediate presence into the game to get into the flow.
