Steve Friggin' Prohm...

Important to know Speraw is at Iowa simply because he couldn’t hack it at UCF. Not surprising he couldn’t help himself at the end.

Despite all the drama, we got our asses kicked due to lack of preparation. No defense on the perimeter..............

Did during the 2nd half run but too little too late.

Also not that they should take anything lightly but Moss isn't exactly a Box and 1 type of player because no one from Iowa was doing much else outside of his 18 in the first.

That's all of Kirk's assistants. He has had the same staff since he arrived in Iowa City....

If they're going to hit five straight shots from 6 feet behind the line, there's nothing you can do about that. That was most of their first half run. You can't defend stupid, and there's no sense guarding out that far (especially knowing they can and will beat us inside).

Yeah if I happen to see Iowa play again I'll see if Baer is pulling up from far beyond the arc like that.

I'd bet he doesn't.

Being a punk and having mental toughness have nothing to do with each other. Look no further than Adam Woodbury. He pushed and shoved and had a real cheapness to his game but he was a mental midget. Lil Mac strikes me as being the same type...he better be prepared to take the bad with the good with his shenanigans.

This is a really dumb take. Connor really didn’t do anything wrong last night- certainly nothing to warrant you drawing that conclusion.

Moss had a big game last time we played in Iowa City too. He's definitely not someone you highlight when you're talking about how to defend Iowa, but he seems to have our number.

I thought the game plan was pretty decent. If Moss, Baer, and McCaffery are the ones beating you, maybe it's just not your day. We should have done a better job on Cook, but Bohannon and Garza were ineffective, and Iowa didn't shoot 500 free throws, so that's just how it goes. If we make a few of those three-pointers, it might be a different game.

I was going to say the same thing, but decided against replying to that post when I looked at the source. His statement was his FIRST POST EVER - obviously a Hoktroll who thinks he is cleverly disguising his true colors by placing the word "state" in his user name. One thing I will say about benji, at least we know where his allegiance lies, so his digs at ISU (while often inane or asinine) are congruent with his fandom.

The apple didn't fall far from the tree for Little Fran.

Prohm's behavior last night was embarrassing.

Those of you criticizing Prohm, get off your ******* high horse. You have no idea what was said to Prohm during the ending or in the initial scrum. Not to mention the cheap tactics Iowa employed, frustrations with officials, and the fact that this is a rivalry game any of you would be struggling to keep your emotions in check as well. He's earned the benefit of the doubt and im sure whatever was said to him warranted his unusual reaction.

Ridiculous by Shayok and Jacobson of Iowa St and Iowa St Coach Prohm at the end of the Iowa Iowa St game..the coach was a huge part of the problem not part of the solution

Wonder how he feels about a player flopping, then getting up and shoving someone that had nothing to do with him out of nowhere.

Probably just good ol' Big Ten basketball.

Well, the announcers were certainly enjoying it. They were laughing about the "scrappiness" of the Hawkeyes.

There are two sides here... Two coaches. One has a history of this kind of behavior and the other this is an isolated incident. History shows the problem isn't with our coach or team.
