Not exactly sure.
Just had to do a corrective action on an employee. Actually feel bad about it (is this what having feelings is like?! Am I getting soft?!)

He’s a genuinely good person and really cares about the kids that come in, but it’s one of those situations where, because he did a good job, the business tripled, and now it’s so much that I think it just overwhelms him above his ability.

If he did a good job and then due to the job he did, he overwhelmed himself, shouldn’t the business be partially to blame for not providing the resources he needed. Also sounds like he might be half in the wrong position with the way you described it.

Two things:

1. There is a dumb reaction emote? How?

2. I got tickets for trans siberian orchestra for gf and I, this purchase puts me well over the agreed upon amount for Christmas. Do I give them as Christmas gift or do I give them separate of Christmas?

Tickets for two of you to do something together do not count against a gift limit, that's just a nice date thing. I am buying two nieces and sister tickets to the Nutcracker. I told them several years ago I was not doing gift exchanges, mostly because I don't want any stuff. So the tickets aren't a Christmas present, just something I saw and thought they might like.

He’s about of that age where I think it’s just hard to keep us with the demands. And his organizational skills leave much more to be desired.

Wherever I go, there I am.
Weird day here as I go wrangling through our financial party.
Apparently, working at DMACC gets me their fundraising stuff, too. The president and his wife included some pumpkin bar recipe along with the request for $. I never knew that was a strategy, or that I was a target.

Bank sends a check today for overpayment of interest on a car loan that has been paid off for at least a dozen years. Check amount is $1.48 plus 6 cents for any inconvenience this may have caused. I don't see why they bothered. Any inconvenience that amount would have cost me is long over by now.

So I guess I'm grateful?
Hmmmmm. Let's see. Hire a bunch of adjuncts so we don't have to give them benefits. Then hit those folks up for donations.

Yeah, not a dirty game here at all.

Hey now! You got a nice little recipe out of it.

If you need recipes that bad, let me know. There is a local business that has calendars with a new recipe every month (well 11 at least, the marketing lady felt she needed to get her special grandmas recipe in, so she made up Christmas in June to accomplish it) and best of all its free.

Ohhhh, how I would love to go to San Antonio. Have been wanting to go since husband (then fiancé) went with the pep band in '97 for the Sweet 16. But alas...new job = no vacation. Plus, new job also entails many end of month duties extra to anything else.

So boo.

I was torn on my response. I dislike the no vacation aspect (we went through that several times with Lew changing jobs & starting over). However, yay for the new job, overall. :D

That was the last time I have been in San Antone as well. I will be going down with my brother and his wife. It will be a long drive but I'm looking forward to it.

Exactly what time would you be passing through C.L? Just curious.

BTW, does your car have a hitch perchance?

You need to take it up with BDK. He's the one who may listen to that.

Is One direction like 'Nsync?
