San Antonio doesn't have the greatest BBQ anyway. Just not that type of town.

I'll have to ask my buddy who lives in SA for what the best Mexican place he thinks is. I remember going to a place called Rosario's last time. Very good. Can't remember the price though.

Also not exactly Mexican but Torchy's Tacos is becoming a Texas favorite.

I misread this as Touchy Tacos and almost started to 13 year old giggle.

Nope. Not much BBQ there either. For Mexican, again like BC said, there's some good stuff at the market which is a bit less than a mile way. Otherwise, Rosario's in the King William District is pretty good. My favorite place on the Riverwalk is Boudreau's.

We ate at the place that claims to be the original riverwalk restaurant. It was o.k. There was a pizza place just above it also. I wasn't highly impressed with the places to eat, but was also thinking BBQ or traditional mexican would be the deal. It isn't.

Two things:

1. There is a dumb reaction emote? How?

2. I got tickets for trans siberian orchestra for gf and I, this purchase puts me well over the agreed upon amount for Christmas. Do I give them as Christmas gift or do I give them separate of Christmas?

Does it include a trip to Siberia?

Christmas gift, you will just get one back. Non Christmas, you will get :) Which reciprocation do you prefer?

Would love some good Mexican food while down there. I've been looking at restaurants in the area. Lots of pricey options but when you stay in the touristy section that is to be expected. Doesn't look like there is much BBQ in the Riverwalk area. :(
Austin has the BBQ. San Antone is Mex & TexMex. ****'s on the far end of the Riverwalk is "okay" BBQ, but you go there for entertainment more than for quality food.

*Richard's...stupid overachieving filters...

Last time I was there they gave me a hat that said, "I hope the viagra works better than the rogaine." Not funny.
