Let's just say they're unavoidable.
Fact remains there's a human element to this 'committee' and they'll be in full force this week.
ISU should not have dropped 10 spots like they did last week.
As an ISU fan I simply walk down the hall and have people come up to me and talk **** about them and the Big 12 and keep at it.
It doesn't effect my life but as a sports fan...pretty annoying.
And they'll be all over OSU 'rising up' for the B1G over the next month or so.

Jerry Palm has Ohio State in over the Sooners. Unbelievable. Oklahoma has lost one game to Texas by 3. Ohio State got creamed 49-20 by a mediocre Purdue team. And he acts like that terrible loss and everything else in the season doesn’t matter because they beat Michigan. The twisted logic to put the Buckeyes in is crazy.

The talking heads are doing their best to make OU sound like they are soooo inferior to OSU's defense when the average points per game is a little over a TD higher for OU when they play much better offensive teams.

Ohio State gave up 51 points last week to freaking Maryland. And won by 1 point in OT. A decent pass at all and the Buckeyes lose. Only ranked teams they have beaten have been Penn State by one point. And Michigan.
Just as long as OU is #5 that doesn't matter much. You had to figure they'd be #5 and #6 with LSU losing and UCF's QB getting hurt. The key is where they stand Tuesday. If OU is ahead Tuesday, I think they stay ahead due to their tougher opponent. If tOSU jumps OU on Tuesday you'll know that the networks have spoken and they got their team in.
Northwestern. They suck. They lost to freaking Akron at home. And yet we are given the hype that if Ohio State beats them they should be in. Never mind that OU only got beat by 3 points by Texas. And if OU beats Texas they will have avenged their only loss. The fellatio being given to Ohio State is ridiculous. What happened to the season’s body of work. Just last week Ohio State escaped defeat to Maryland by a single point and gave up 51 points. And they gave up 39 points to Michigan. Their defense isn’t great.

Their defense is only 7 points worse than tOSU. And they play a fast paced tempo. More possessions. Point differential for is actually greater for OU. OU only loss was by 3 points to a ranked team. While tOSU was routed by a mediocre Purdue team 49-20. 29 point rout to a .500 team. Beat a mediocre Maryland team by one point while giving up 51 points. Giving up 51 points to Maryland. Hell Purdue should be in the playoffs. They played a complete game in their dismantling of Ohio State.
