Filled the Audi with fuel yesterday. Last fueled up on September 22, in Ames. Believe I have become a hermit.

Audi dealer in a few years, "And here we have a nice low mileage A5. One owner little old man who only drove it to gamewatches and the grocery store and didn't drive it at all on Sundays!"

I have spent the last hour trying to figure out how this one ancient POS system starts up. The last part I just can't find. It's turning into some sort of quest.

I should give up and just start posting JLH gifs in that stupid football tweet thread. I have been trying to steer that thing off course without much success. JLH might be our only hope.

also, after face painting with his spit up yesterday - very happily - today little man let the other end be the start of the show. Saturday he got it down his sleeper leg to his toes. Today was up his back to almost his neck. DH got to deal with yesterday solo and resorted to giving a bath. Today was a two person job but we avoided the bath.

2 people on my project team went to Illinois so I'm trying to come up with a friendly wager. They don't care about sports so it has to be something fairly light.

The easy one is the loser buys the winner lunch but the fun one is the Facebook Creep.

Loser has to like 25-30 photos of female friends but the photos have to have been posted over three years ago.

Well they're a man and woman, both married (not to each other). So can't do anything like that.

We did the loser(s) has to eat an entire dinner "ala mode". Salad? More like salad with vanilla ice cream. Steak? More like steak with a nice butter rum. Etc etc

Apparently, students are following up on their idea of writing letters to make sure the school continues to employ me by writing that all over their course evaluations.

When they threw that out there this morning, they didn't know that Valpo had delivered a flush letter to me a few minutes earlier. That was nice.

This school in Worcester very well might be my only chance at all to make this degree count.

She also has started doing like, live things while she cooks dinner where people can ask her whatever they want and she’ll try to answer it. She’s so accessible it’s ridiculous. The complete opposite of what we’re used to with politicians.

Plus she does a really good job of walking the fine line of being adorably quirky.
