Not exactly sure.
Wake the son up for morning practice, think I can catch another half hour sleep. Wife not walking due to rain, so she turns on the lights, turns on the TV and just wanders around. When I get up early, I sneak around to let her sleep. I go to bed probably 3 hours after her, so this isn’t nice.

Had to go into Walmart. While walking in, this woman is walking out. She starts pointing to her chest while looking at me. I get ready to say I’m flattered but I’m married, what I usually say, then notice it’s that ugly sideways Fred flint stone and I have an ISU shirt on. So instead I smile and give the I feel sorry for you look.
Sounds like a typical hok fan. They just have to bring that **** up to perfect strangers.

On a side note, we talked ancient Israel yesterday. I had some pictures of the replica Tabernacle that's in Israel now (for tourists). Made sure to mention that, if this were a spring class, they would have had a long speech about sacrificing a Jayhawk on there.

The VT one will be interesting. I'll be sort of fringy but a smart fit, but not really "religious studies," but exactly what they're talking about. They'll get good application materials so they can do the mental fighting through this one.
If you get an interview, start by doing this dance.

**** yeah, I’ll meet up with you, @cyrevkah and Z in Morgantown for the basketball game or football next year.
Hopefully the football game would be early enough for the trees to still have their leaves. The games over Thanksgiving all the trees were bare making the entire area look even more depressing than it is.

Overheard a convo at work yesterday, two hok fans discussing the game. Around me, they claim to be ISU fans unless it's a CyHawk event, and of course I'm suspicious. And what I hear is haughty and dismissive, typical of hok fans in my experience. I think they expect to beat us 49-0 every year, or something like that.

This is why I'd really like to see us put a beatdown on them Saturday. I respect Ferentz and his program, but enough already.
I don't hate the Hawks. In fact, I like to see them do well, because win or lose, it makes our program look better. I just can't stand their insufferable fans.

I feel like those that can still cheer for the Hawkeyes when we don’t play them probably didn’t grow up in a town and a family full of Hawkeyes.
Well, I grew up in Dubuque, IA and actually was a Hawk fan until I went to Iowa State for school.

I have a habit of greeting other Cyclones in places I don't expect to see them, but dissing a stranger from another fanbase in an out of the way area? Projection.

Pity her; that bird **** on her bewbs is probably the best thing she has going for her.

For the most part. Some of their players have been pretty arrogant also. Then again, so have some of ours.

Probably since I don't have to deal with their players on a regular basis. I get to deal with the kirkwood boys daily.

BTW, was told a story the other day about Tim Dwight. Best to tell any daughters to run, especially at any place where there has been any drinking. From my interactions with him, I could believe every word. Guy still thinks he is in HS.

He's one of those people that actually looks like his bobblehead.
