Yes. I was asked if I would be there to help. This is what I get asked when I run the sound system so I said I’d be there. Yesterday I got an email from pastor saying thanks for agreeing to lead church.
Sounds like a perfect chance for you to preach about The Good Samaritan and God loving the Gentiles.

Bishop wrote a sermon for us and the co-leader said she’d do that. Haven’t read any of the scriptures or gospel yet but when I agree to read, I always get the adultry and fornication parts. Reading about getting busy to a bunch of people old enough to be my grandparents is a blast.

When I was a seminary student, my brother had me do a scripture reading at his wedding.
Lucky me, I got an explicit portion of the Song of Solomon.

@BCClone I am sometimes surprised to see how many locals there are still in our small town school. Not so much teachers, but parents. We do have some families where two generations are teachers here and from here, but thankfully we are very strong academically. My own hometown on the other hand has horrible administration and questionable teachers in some subjects. A few there from when I was in school. There are a couple music/band teachers I had in elementary school.
