I always get a kick of our people just downvoting the **** out of my posts in the basketball boards.
Busy weekend. Went boating down at the res with a friend yesterday. 8lbs if pork butt and 3 racks of the ribs on the smoker and flying with my dad and LittleWx before people come over this afternoon.
On the plus side I get tomorrow off to recover.

Ysterday was dress like you shouldn’t day and I misseed it. First was the jorts and sandals. Next was a neighbor in a Gilligan hat, wife beater and Larry bird shorts mowing his lawn and then at the grocery store was a guy with a blossom hat, jeans that were too big and hanging down to show the top 1/4 of his underwear. These are all guys that are 45-50 years old. First was a guy who mooches off dad, second is an accountant and last was a wrestling coach.

Bunch of people guessing whether he comes back or not. Most all of them saying either way glad he was/is a Cyclone. Pants did a troll job wishing him well in whatever he does, people took that to have way more meaning then it did.
TLDR nobody knows We'll find out the last day people have to withdraw or maybe sooner.
FWIW, local sports anchors don't think he's getting the positive response he was hoping for from the scouts.
No doubt he's a helluva player, but he just doesn't seem big enough & strong enough to go up against guys in their mid 20s with a lot more muscle mass than he has.

People are angry at me for not naming my sources in regards to a post I didn’t give any information in in the first place.
That’s the gist of about the last ten pages of it.
Been working on a side project, re-doing a huge deck for some friends of mine. I spend most evenings and lots of the weekends out there, but I'm getting on the back side of it now. The heat has been a real ***** - lots and lots and lots of water drunk.
But I did find out that smearing pure vanilla extract on my face and neck does keep those pesky ******* gnats away, for the most part. Eventually I sweat it off, but then I just re-apply. The Kirkland brand from Costco works the best.
Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We had a big bash with the vixen's family, some even came from South Dakota. The only bad part is that my entire cache of Busch Light is gone, along with some of the craft beers I had bought from time to time.

Incidentally, smooth job on the LW thread, Pants. Like a real pro. (Even CyTwins was impressed.)
Anxiously awaiting @jcyclonee report from his Memorial Day key club party. He has been quiet wonder if: he had ACL surgery and didn't make it through, had a crazy tryst in key club and ran off with her, coached too long in the 100 heat and is now sitting in a tub of aloe Vera lotion to soothe the sunburn. I think the last one is most likely.
Or....he snuck off to Fort Dodge and has been overdosing on Taco Tico all weekend.

Just wait until tomorrow.
LW comes back, people whine about taking his time and showing he's not a true Cyclone.
LW leaves for good, same thing but with extra degrees of whining that he spurned us and wasted our time and whatever plays along with that.
If he does leave then he deserves it. He worked hard and only has a small window to make money playing basketball. More power to him.
I'd love to have him back for another year though.
Unless you are very young, very old or have lung issues it's not going to be bad. Not Beijing outside.
Didn't notice till you posted that we had the same warning here yesterday and today along with the heat warning. I didn't think it was that awful since the humidity and dew point were not that high compared to the worse days here. Did stop and offer my water to a woman roller blader who was sitting down with a couple others and had obviously overheated. My bike water was still cool in an insulated bottle. They declined, they had water and were going to roll her over to Whole Food to cool down. Ended up pouring some of it over my phone which overheated at mile 12 running a biking app. Pretty much established the Samsung doesn't like temps in the mid 90's with the sun shining on it.
