Lazard's dropped passes certainly aren't helping him, and his lack of football speed, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. How many WR's have now been picked ahead of him that weren't even invited to the combine? And Lazard showed well at the combine too.

Yup. Guys from Division II schools get drafted almost every year. LOL at anyone who thinks Lazard isn’t getting drafted because of which P5 conference school we went to.

Everyone needs to quit playing the poor Iowa State card. He could have gone to any school and still be drafted or not drafted in the same spot. They draft the best players out there. Sometimes they miss but generally they know more than a fan of their favorite team. We all love Allan but they see dropped passes, not the greatest speed. They don’t see “oh he went to Iowa State so let’s not draft him”

Lazard is sorta that square peg in the round hole. Big and physical, but not super fast, and he did have some issues with drops when at ISU. Still think someone is missing out on a guy that can go get the ball in short yardage situations, which is pretty valuable most games.

NFL coaches and scouts know what they are looking for and IMO they viewed Lazard as a player with basically one positive asset that paid off real well in college. He was taller than most college defensive backs. Not physical. No break away speed. Questionable hands.

Cantrell is similar size as Lazard, but quicker and more explosive. Also put up relatively similar stats. Not sure why that warrants an lol.

I disagree with a lot of your analysis. Not physical? You can't be "not physical" and be considered a very good blocker. And nobody's questioning his hands other than the ISU fans throwing a pity party over the fact that he hasn't been drafted yet.

FTR, ESPN has him as the 4th best available pick at the moment, so his time is coming.
