If you say so. Obviously the Colts didn't feel that way, as well as many scouts that had Fountain ahead of Lazard too. I'm a Clones fan all the way, and an alum, but not so much of a homer that I didn't think it was possible for Fountain to go ahead of Lazard. They were both close.

It seemed like every time we played UNI I heard all about how big a problem Fountain would be for us. He recorded a whopping 6 catches for 44 yards in 3 games against us. Not impressed.

You don't draft a kicker unless you plan to start him. I got to think Forbath is out.

That might be, but we're not in travesty of justice territory yet. Plenty of draft experts had Lazard as a day 3 pick. Others thought maybe he'd go sooner, and of course ISU fans were hoping for that, but him still being on the board is not a real indicaori of anything yet.

Ok im officially done watching this..back to back punters in the 5th round. This is a joke. Any team can get any decent punter or kicker for that matter in a heartbeat off free agency..what a complete waste of draft picks..

I guess the Pack assumes they will be punting a lot this year, so better have a good one.

Supposedly the Packers punter they already have on their roster led the NFL in net punting average though from what I'm hearing. I guess you can never have enough depth at punter though, right? Sheeeesh.

Having one of the best kicker/punters in the league is probably more valuable than a team’s 6th WR, who may or may not even make the team.

Not saying that is all Lazard will be, because he was a great college player, but you need to chill the hell out. These guys know a helluva lot more about football than you. Good/great college players go late or undrafted every year, this isn’t a rare/unique circumstance.
