They have a national championship, so they've got that going for them.

You really just can't help yourself from behaving like a complete d!ck, can you?

Anyway, good luck to Clayton. That's a very big pick-up for Loyola.

I looked at going to Loyola and had a pretty big academic scholarship offered to go there. It's a really nice school and I think they might have a brand new arena?

Good luck at your new school Clayton. Thanks for your time spent at ISU.

They play in the Gentile Arena. After all, it is a Catholic school, not a Jewish one! Rim shot.

Pronounced "Genteel."

Where are all you smart people who "knew" he would transfer to Wichita? Not so vocal all of a sudden...

Three years ago today Custer's transfer news broke. Now he's going to the Final Four.

Also this is good. Custer would have been great here this year for sure.

Good move for him. Hoiberg was going to just recruit over him. Will fit in better at a mid-major.

Guy can clearly play at a high level and is a great fit for the team and coach he ended up at. Great story. Not sure he would have been happy at ISU behind the starters that were in his class.

Yep, we really eff'ed that up

It has literally nothing to do with the current state of Iowa State basketball. First, if Iowa State ran him off it was Holberg. Second, there is plenty reason to believe he (or his family) thought it was best he leave Iowa State. Third, he literally wouldn't have played much until this year. He's not better than Monte.
