How would you like to see it used? RP already tweeting a grad transfer is unlikely. I know we haven't had great luck w/ grad transfers but if a major player comes along I hope we take a look.
First choice would be a Top 150 recruit (shooter)
Then best available sit out we can get

Yep, Tyler Harris. Especially if the other transfer ends up happening.

here is the tweet btw. Apparently he is not thinking HS as most of us here.

Many schools are shy about going after sit one, play one guys like Shayok because it ties up a scholarship for so long without a long-term payoff.

We might be ideally suited for such a player since we have such a full roster and obvious rotation mostly set for next year right now without adding.

That might be a market inefficiency we can exploit -- guys like Shayok being under-valued, making them into something of a de facto graduate transfer for the year after next. Not having Shayok hurt this past season, but I bet it will be worth it.

That's what made Talley a bonus transfer when he hit the books for a double summer session and became a graduate transfer with two years to play. Still impresses me that he did that.

Small question while I have this in mind...

Who did we beat for Shayok?

CW and JS could not remember on the recent podcast.

I was curious. Does anybody remember?

Tyler Harris is the obvious priority and I would be excited by the addition.

If that doesn't work out, then I would be in a wait and see mode. The roster is pretty set, one scholarship should only be used on top available talent,
I don't think Prohm will pursue a Grad Transfer/JC player unless they can get 20+ minutes next year. With next years current roster that will eliminate many of the names people will float.

Patience could pay off in the with spring de-commits or Mid Year Transfer next year.
