Just like how we beat Iowa when we were down by 6 with 1 minute left and ended up winning in 2015. It's magic
Stinson to Blalock to Clark was the best sequence of a dunk I can remember. Not the best dunk per say. However, the whole thing was awesome. BTW I wish the Ally Oop Rahshon had at Wells Fargo was on there.
Goddamn, Jeff Grayer could elevate in a hurry. My memories of him at ISU are dim at best, so it's good to see him represented well.
The great thing about the Fizer/Mihm dunk that I think a lot of people overlook was the symbolism.
If memory serves, there was a debate about conference player of the year that season, and the debate was between those 2. It was being hotly debated up to that game. Iowa State basically dominated and Fizer was having the better individual game up to that point, but the debate was still lingering during.

Personally one of my favorites partly because of the look on Self's face was the Thomas dunk.
Fizer over Mihm to me might have been the biggest dunk in program history IMO. That was pretty much the exclamation point at that time to announce to the rest of the country that ISU was the real deal that season. All the talk coming into the game centered around Mihm and how he might be the #1 overall pick in the NBA draft and Fizer just tore him up that game. ISU fans knew we had a really good team early that season but it took a long time until the rest of the country noticed it. I remember the pep band playing Aretha Franklin "Respect" on occasion before we started to move up in the polls.
The Rashon Clark dunk against VA may be #2 on my list, that guy was a dunk highlight reel his whole career.

Ejim vs Notre Dame and Solo catching the lob vs TCU would have been great on there too.
Ejim should really be up there with best dunkers in Cyclone history. Every time he threw down he tried to rip the rim off.
He has to be up there quantity wise. Hell, he had like 10 in one game against TCU.
I miss so many of those guys. Like family that has grown up and moved away.

I was there for that fast break no look dump off dunk to Clark back in the day. That was absolute lunacy from Cyclone Alley. Never heard such a loud noise as I did after that dunk. The student's looked like they were moshing at a Slipknot concert.

I tried like mad to find videos of that Chris Allen dunk, Ejim’s vs ND and NC Central, and Kane’s vs North Carolina. Also, Cato’s vs Cincinatti. If you don’t personally have recordings of those certain NCAA Tourney games, It is pretty much impossible to find even highlights of the games anywhere.
I love how the video shows how absolutely insane it was after the Clark dunk vs UVA. People literally falling out of their seats.
One of the things that stood out to me from watching that is that Jeff Grayer is still in the top 3 of all time ISU dunkers, and arguably the best, even after all these years. He still stands up. He was amazing. It was his senior year when I was a freshman at ISU, so I had the honor of getting to watch him for one year in Hilton.
The other thing that video reminded me of was just how great a player Royce White was. It's really too bad he had his mental struggles that didn't allow him to show the world what he could do. He had the talent to be an NBA starter for years and years IMO. VERY unique skills for someone with his size.
