And if you count most of Young's deep shots as the flat out turnovers that they are then he'd be averaging more than 10 turnovers a game. Sorry, but I still contend that his shtick is gonna start wearing thin on teammates pretty soon. Yeah, he's better than then but he's basically telling his teammates "I have a better chance of making a contested 35 footer than you dopes have of getting open and hitting anything".
It's pretty clear now that his goal out there is to keep the ball himself until either he scores or he can get a teammate open to score so he can get max points and assist stats.
And thirty nine shots in a game is ridiculous. In Frank Mason's National PoY award sweeping season last year, he never even had 2 consecutive games where he combined to shoot 39 shots.
