Read a story that in China you can get 3-10 years for shoplifting. They are going to need the U.S. government to get involved to negotiate for a lower charge. Idiots. Who would ever think it would be a good idea to shoplift in China?

I can't imagine how scary it would be to spend any amount of time in a Chinese prison, let alone multiple days. Probably have no clue what's going on or how long they will be held. Hopefully will be a nice dose of humility for the kid that can then, by some act of God, rub off on the rest of the group.

So is going on an all night bender involving large quantities of booze, drugs, and a trip to a brothel in a foreign country with no protection but I still wouldn't advise doing it.
It is sad but IIRC he's already said some things about Liangelo being the worst out of the three & that he's not going to the NBA. It's probably true but given his irrational confidence in his boys it's telling.
I've heard him talk (it was unfortunately unavoidable). As a parent, well....he's in it for the money. I feel sorry for his kids; he's a ****** role model.
Rumor is Lavar is threatening to pull his multi-million BBB shoe manufacturing business out of China, and that is why the boys got released and that this will be swept under the rug.
