This may not be quite as bad as it seems. Evidently, there was an error on the team-submitted registration that stated she was a boy. Yes, the organizers could have accepted the insurance card as proof that an error was made, but it doesn't seem as though any kind of blatant bigotry was involved.

Not buying it. They played three games in the tournament before that and it wasn't an issue until they got to the semis. Like they all of a sudden, mid tournament, decided to scrutinize the rosters as typed by the registrar? Gives them some cover but I am calling totes BS over a typo. I believe they were looking for an excuse to disqualify this whole team and found one when they could have been 75% asses and only disqualified the girl or demonstrated standup sportsmanship and opted for a correction. Their choice, go full 100% *******. Adults that are pricks act like pricks and adults that are not pricks don't, for me it's just that simple. And all over a game being played by eight-year olds?

It is a ridiculous process to get a passport.
Mine expires in about 15 months so I need to start thinking about renewing. I really need to write down all of the information about Mom and Dad so I don't have to ask again. In another 10 years there might not be anyone left to ask.

I had to even supply information of my ex wife, whom I haven't even been married to in like, 7 years. Seems a bit extreme to me.

After lunch I drove over to Menards and on the local sports talk radio they were talking about this. Information is really sketchy. It sounded like one of the adults from the prior games went down and told the official that there was a boy on the team. As it is now the tournament officials seem to be just coming up with stuff to cover their butts.

Try getting a security clearance. Especially if you have moved and moved multiple times it can be a huge pain in the ass.

got my passport at 18 and I don't remember it taking long at all. The renewal/name change was just a picture at the post office. Maybe you shouldn't be such a sketchy person, Pants.

All this corruption. Start drinking a bit more and pick up a couple serial killers and you Nebraskans can be the new Wisconsin.

I definitely need to get a passport since Minnesota can't seem to get their crap together and resolve the real ID issues. Do you need to provide date of divorce information if you are remarried? I saw the line for divorce/widowed on the form but wasn't clear if that was divorce from the spouse you listed or ever divorced.

Not sure since I haven't been remarried. I couldn't remember my exact divorce date, so hopefully it doesn't have to be exact.
