This would be big. Not sure that they are a whole lot more reasonable than Texas though.

There a million factors between these two programs that might set them apart.

But I'd just find Texas a more viable path to national title contention -- the Big 12 has some good programs, but no T-1000s anywhere waiting for you.

The SEC West has a Badyear Blimp called Sabanism waiting for you.

No getting into the playoff if you can't get past that.

TCU, OSU, and OU don't scare me nearly as much in comparison.

Wow, it'll be interesting to see what Texas does. Do they have other guys rumored to be on on their list?

This is good for ISU, but maybe bad for the B12. ISU doesn't want a strong Texas another team to climb up too, but the B12 needs a strong Texas to survive.

Also it could just be an agent putting false info out there to get a better offer from UT.

Applewhite goes with him? Promoted in Houston? Or does Austin call?

I'm sure Herman's people and Texas's people have been talking behind closed doors. I think the decision to fire strong was made weeks ago, the AD is just waiting until the end of the season to make it official.

LSU may be just putting out a better offer. But who knows.
