Well, the other half is the one that's going to be in the press box. So not sure...

So if any of you TC folks know someone wanting to sell a ticket for cheap...UM's site wants $90. Stubhub $82. Guessing because they're playing for Floyd.

Also, very random. I've been in school for 14 years and still have no idea where and when to use apostrophe's. Do I even use an apostrophe in apostrophe's? lol

You could come over to St. Paul at 9:00 and report on the 5k race. :) Then buzz back to Mpls and borrow Pants corgi and go walk the city lakes and maybe take a quick trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. I'd avoid the Mall of America......going to be filled with tavern hawks. Arob would probably pay you to mow his lawn if you are interested.

I have a very much love / hate relationship with sunday's
No. And Sunday should be capitalized.

Again, no and no.
Plurals do not use apostrophes.
All contractions require apostrophes to replace the removed letters.
Possessives usually require an apostrophe, but there are exceptions: it's possible its use is not required in some circumstances. ;)

So it's & its. It's is a contraction so you use the apostrophe but its in context is plural yeah?

Of course, like everything that is the ***** that is the English language, there are always exceptions, but that will probably get you through most of life okay.
The more and more I've learned the **** show that is the English language the more lenient I become to peoples (plural no apostrophe am I doing this right?) broken English for those who are trying to learn.

edit: that's definitely not right. wow i iz dum

Grade essays sometime, especially in-class ones. You'll see that grading for grammar is just an excuse to fail the whole class.

People's. It's possessive of "broken English" and not pluralized since broken English is the subject. It's their broken English that you're more lenient on.

After taking German for several years, I always have a bit of a problem with English capitalization rules. In German, all nouns are capitalized which makes it much easier than trying to figure out whether something is a proper noun.

Also, effect vs. affect
