How often do we see big red "N" caps and hawkeye gear at totally unrelated games? We mock them. I agree with Dean & Woo...don't be that guy.

I was just making a joke about that tweet from CW banning someone a couple of days ago. A few posters actually believed me for some reason. I thought I made it pretty obvious by referencing my 8-year old's mastery of the Cyber and me calling out CW.
So today we went to church and my wife and son went early for Sunday school. Baby and I went a bit later just for service. After noticing that one of our acquaintances that used to attend regularly (and be involved in every single thing) was again not there for like the 4th weekend in a row, I asked Mrs. GTO about it. Here's how it went:
Me: "Hey, where are the Smiths (not their real name)? Haven't seen them in a few weeks and they were always here."
Mrs. GTO: "They moved to another suburb (maybe an extra 15 minutes) so maybe that's why they're not coming anymore."
Me: "Really? They used to be balls-deep in the church."
Mrs. GTO (with eyes wide open): "THAT's how you want to say it?!"
Me: (after thinking about it a couple of seconds) "Sure. Why not?"
She gave me a disapproving look, so I don't think she was too thrilled with me.

Yesterday while I was at the game. I was sitting in section 29 with some family friends, I can't remember what the flag was but I uttered the words "Big 12 Refs have the ******* IQ of Hawkeye fans." This guy behind me was giving me updates of the Iowa v NW game and I was obviously making pro-W comments. I later learned he was a Hawkeye & Olympic Wrestler. Whoops!
