Quit trolling man or they're going to try and get to banned. If they haven't tried already.

No one wants to actually hear the truth. They want to hear that everything is going to be awesome. It likely isn't.

That's why I switched completely to song lyrics in that thread

They can try to get me banned all they want, I've done nothing to get banned.

Also, today I learned the hands clap emoticon doesn't translate over to CF.

Not encouraging.

Giant wood rats will love your new plants this winter. Bunnyrats, tree rats and giant wood rats: all on Boxsters rat hate list.

I've let the deer and rabbits feast on my landscaping this year. Next year I think I'm going to get rid of 1/2 of it anyways, because there's just too much to maintain. One of the cons from buying a house from an old retired lady who probably did yard work all day every day.

E-mailed someone named Chris for a tech support question.
Didn't want to sound too familiar, so I went with "Mr. (last name here)."

They answered the e-mail, and put a (Ms.) in front of their signature, just like that.

I believe that I am someone's Loser Customer of the Day. Hats off to me.

No rabbits because fox. Lots of deer though. And a family of groundhogs (2 babies most years).
I have hostas & lilies and dianthus. They come back every year. Some years the deer eat them, some years they don't. The groundhogs eat the clover in the "lawn"...which is really more of a small mowed meadow.
I like watching the critters out there...so I'm okay with sometimes having my "garden" be a smorgasbord. ;)

I always find it amusing when people address me as "Dr."...I mean, thanks for the promotion, but...

I'd also be willing to bet that Chris wasn't offended at all. I have to do that fairly frequently as well. You get used to it. :)

They reported you to their HR manager, Pat.

So I finally saw Star War The Force Awakens the other day.
It was about what I expected. Pretty to look at but with very little substance.

Yesterday at 1:30 PM, a 39 year old lady was struck in the back of the head while putting her infant in a car seat at a WalMart about 4 miles from my house. Some guy tried to help and got shot. Another guy saw it go down, intervened and ended up shooting one of the attackers dead. The other attacker fled, but was later apprehended.

My wife and daughter had been there an hour and a half beforehand...

I really hate people some days.

Dude that is rough. Is the lady okay?

That's way to way too close for comfort for me.

What was it with yesterday? I saw on the news that in Wisconsin someone shot at a care and ended up hitting a few-month old. Luckily it sounded like the injures weren't life-threatening

Next owner of my house is likely to think "What the hell was I thinking buying a house from a retired landscape architect?"

There are a couple a few of those old retired ladies in our neighborhood. At least one of which has planters covering pretty much her whole yard. That one will be a tough sell.
