I'll play along.

We definitely did not see each other this past weekend.

This definitely wins euphemism of the week.

The Sega Dreamcast had such an awful controller. Some ridiculously fun games, though.
I actually like the Dreamcast controller. Probably because it evolved from the 3rd generation Sega Saturn 3D controller shape, so I was pretty used to the layout. I mean, it's not ugly like the Gamecube or N64 controller. Those two were very odd with their button placement.

Ever have an interview where you question how it actually went? Maybe it is just because I just interviewed for an identical position a couple of weeks ago and the questions were not nearly as in depth then.

I've been to interviews where I knew how it went and still didn't get it. One had a panel that gave me a standing ovation partway through, but some other guy with 20 years of service was also interviewing (full time Guard job).
Another one had a misspelled background check that came up positive for some other guy's assault charges. I got that one eventually after some discussion of fraudulent employment (it was a promotion).

My favorite was a job interview during seminary where the HR guy told me he'd been praying for someone exactly like me with my background and schedule, and would call me Monday to make the offer official. By Wednesday, I made the awkward call in and found out they took someone else.

Long story short, I hate everything about job interviews and can't tell a single thing with confidence about walking out with the job.

Boxster, I finally went running. Today, when it's July-type weather. Lungs aren't thrilled but it did rain partway through so that was great. Very refreshing.

But now I'll probably get pneumonia.

I was feeling pretty good about getting things accomplished today. Then about 4pm hit and I lost a ride/place to go for kid #2 (friend who was going to help lost her MIL this afternoon). Got reinforcements called in. Then kid #4 woke up with a fever and stomachache. Picked up kid #1 from one sport to drive an hour to the next sport. Got there and #4 tossed her cookies (we were prepared at least). So down a kid, and she is the one who never sleeps when she is sick. I am ready for bed and she is singing along with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

What I have learned from Birdy is even though MrsWx wants four kids that it is not advisable.

Hopefully, she will sleep soon.
