Went to the SAC museum out by Omaha today, it was neat but not great. Nice kids area for them to do things and learn science stuff. Best part of the trip was stopping in Dunlap at the Dairy Sweet for pork tenderloin, really crispy fries, and a really thick chocolate shake. They won the tenderloin award back in 2005 and are still darn good, location moved now right on main street.

We were right next door at Mahoney this summer, so two families (with kids) went over there for a morning. I think the older kids around 7-11 enjoyed it, not sure how much the 3 and 1yr old got out of it. My BIL noticed they had an ISU flag up at the Clayton Anderson display (he graduated undergrad from Hastings College) but no mention of the connection to Iowa State (unless he missed it).
 
Apparently there was a small argument over Obama exiting Air Force One in China and the lack of available stairs so he had to use the cargo door instead. Everyone saying it is in the rear when it is actually directly below the normal door that is used.

You can assume I am being a smart-ass except when I am not. :)

When I am not it usually includes a bunch of ***out profanity or something that gets someone to play the "better fan" than me card.
 
If I am going to try and do a short run today I think i have a 45 minute window coming up....after that looks like loto more rain.




Edit: "window" turned out to be a peep hole that is already closed.

I should clarify that my post was the one with the smart-ass white text jimlad. Some things on the new site are not so great. Like what ever happened to the rep button?
 
oh yeah, grill party was a success. No food poisoning. Though I spent most of the weekend sick anyway. I think I got a second cold after not really getting over the first. So that has been fun.

You would totally be on your way to recovery if you had run some. Yup, pretty sure on that one. :rolleyes:
