I am such a freakin' geek. Friend responded to a FB posting with "Darmok and Jalad on the ocean" and I knew exactly what he meant.

Actually just read tonight that working out might be part of why this is hanging around. I tend to think of colds as in the head so ok to work out. So I have been, including runn8ng a couple times. Didnt really cross my mind til reading that that oh yeah, hacking cough isn't really in the head. Whoops.

Been there off and on since early March.
Partly because my margin for error is less right now, I slowed down my workouts. It's pretty much gone, so I look forward to getting out and seeing what's in the lungs pretty soon.

It will soooo be ugly, but nice to get moving. I guess all this saved some money on the second shoe trip of the year.

OMG, I just realized I have some ice cream Twix bars in the freezer and I ran today so I can eat one!

My boss said he heard on the news that there was a tree crew doing work near the house that exploded shortly before it did, although they said there's no evidence of damaged underground gas lines.

Pretty sure they were all in Des Moines, Clive & Urbandale today, along with the DEA. They targeted something like 20 residences...I'm still not sure why. All I heard on the news was a woman upset that they came into her home looking for her nephew and "tore it apart". Busy day for them.
