Go to carry a box downstairs at work, forget I'm wearing slightly slippery sandals, and walking on carpeted stairs with plastic on the edging. So, I slip and hit the soft part of my inner arm on the end of the railing going down. Quite a bruise I have now that I'm icing.

Oh, I wouldn't go so far as to call me "lucky". Plenty of cysts, just not in my mouth. Trust me, it's very annoying to have a grape on the inside of your wrist at the base of your thumb.
Is it something you just have to wait out?

I looked it up earlier. At the end of the article, there was a video showing Napoleon McCallum's injury and I just said nope nope nope.

No, as CG said it was the Vikings QB. But still. They made it sound like the fact medical staff was on hand is the only reason there wasn't permanent damage. Absolutely crazy for a non-contact injury.

I liked that for both the DMac thing and because Atlanta actually has a pretty nice airport.

Sometimes I'll just throw random stuff in there (stamps, postcard from Florida, bloody glove) and see how long it takes her to find it. If we ever accidentally stumble onto the set of Let's Make a Deal, we're golden.

And if you ever get tired of holding the purse, just put some expensive lingerie in there when she's not looking and make sure you're nowhere near her when she sets off the security alarm.

Before you know it, she'll learn to never trust you with that responsibility again.

But I like the responsibility.

No hurry though, he will need time to acclimate.
